OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The Independence Project was founded on the ideals of providing an education into the workings of American government through a non-partisan point of view.
For far too long, our views of government have been construed by those we voted for in the last election or who we support as a party or candidate in the future. It has spawned vitriol that has only sought to encumber the workings of a functioning government that was designed to serve the people whom appoint, fund, and create it. This vicious cycle is untenable, and the misinformation it provides pulls us apart while ruining our efficiency.
That's where we come in.
It is beyond the time to elevate independent voices to advocate and educate for/to others regarding our systems of government. The freedom of our independence in which is ground upon the starting three words of the declaration of independence, "We the People." Using our independence, our goal is to refrain from the partisan politicking and warfare that has consumed the American public, and instead choose to use our independent voices to show a guiding light that can help restore the individual principles we've once held but since widely lost.
As time progresses, we'll begin rolling out informative posts on the weekly that delve into different topics. These may range from historical teachings of our nation's past to providing an independent analysis on major groundbreaking events striking the current political workings of the United States. Our hope is to begin this process with a lead-up towards some gleanings into the workings of the Electoral College ahead of their formal vote on December 14th to legitimize the expected election of Joseph. R. Biden Jr as the 46th President of the United States. Until then, you can find us on Twitter regularly through our moniker @IndyProject2020. See you soon!
By the People, for the People, of the People, for it is We the People.
